Triceratops

The Triceratops dinosaur, meaning "three horned face", lived in the Late Cretaceous period about 66 million years ago. Among the largest and most massive, the distinctive horns are thought to be either defensive, or decorative. Many specimen were found throughout the Rockies, and can be observed in famed museums like the Smithsonian or Carnegie Museum, to smaller venues and even Oxford.
